Story
I will be completing 🤞the Sunderland 10K (13/05/18) and The Great North Run (09/09/18) for 2 charities, splitting the money equally between them.
As you will all know I am not a runner. When I started training in February 10m was a challenge, never mind 10km, but with the support of wonderful family and friends I am hoping to complete the challenges above.
I have been inspired by some colleagues to raise money for Chihame CDSS School in Malawi. Due to the dangers the girls face on their long journey to school many of them are choosing not to go. Antonia and Paul are hoping to raise £10,000 to build a dormitory for 20-25 girls so they are safe from Monday to Friday so they can have their right to an education.
The second charity is the Alzheimer's Society, supporting those affected by dementia.
