Story
We are looking to raise as much money as we can to find a cure for Gorhams Disease.
On Sunday 3rd September, myself, Charlotte Whyte, Kirsty Chapman and Phil Sudworth will be doing the Wigan 10k.
Gorhams is a disease that Sarah Whyte has got, and currently takes 3 different chemotherapy's each week to try and help her against this horrible disease. It is horrible at times but without a cure there is nothing we can do to fix this.
This year we are completing numerous events through a variety of ways just trying to raise money to send to the charity which is based in America. Unfortunately, the UK doesnt really have much info about the disease - and sometimes Sarah will be telling the doctors about it through research she has done herself rather than the other way round which im sure you can agree isnt right.
The events we are doing over the next month or so are - 1) The Wigan 10K. 2) Boogie Bounce. 3) Charity Fundraiser
It is a great cause for a very worthwhile person. And every little bit will help. All donations are appreciated massively.
Thank you. x
Above is pictures of Sarah's skull were Gorhams is present. Its also known as a bone vanishing disease which is quite clear on that picture.
