    Story

My name is Ryanne Errington and I am a member of staff in the Operating Department at our Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. I am arranging a SaTH 2021 Calendar to raise money for SaTH Charity – with particular focus on PPE and specialised equipment, and I need your help!!

The images above the months in the calendar will be of staff members from the Trust. They will be holding personalised letters, which are coloured and designed by the children of Shropshire. The letters will spell out the month.

I am looking for sponsorships from any businesses. I am also looking for people to buy single squares in which they can write their own message inside.

I would like as many children as possible to personalise the letters for the calendar. The letters need to be printed in A4 (please avoid cropping the letter) and need to be as colourful as possible. Letters can then be posted to myself (SaTH Calendar 2021, 4 The Old Dairy, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 8US) or they can be emailed to me. You can download the letters here:

My idea to start a fundraising project came to mind when the videos of the NHS staff dancing started appearing. Myself and my colleagues posted a video and it had amazing reactions. Because of how positive the response was, I thought that now would be a great time to start a fundraising project.

Working on the front line I see the just how much equipment is needed on a daily basis, especially the PPE for our staff members. The COVID-19 outbreak came around so suddenly and has put huge amounts of pressure on our NHS hospitals.

Even if it's a small amount, fundraising for our hospitals will slightly relieve that pressure by creating funds to buy the supplies that is urgently needed. I hope that this project spreads positivity throughout our community and helps to keep our staff and patients safe during this unfortunate time.
