I met city on the streets curled up on a homeless man. After a hour chatting and offering to find them both a place to stay for the night, we walked through Nottingham together chatting and he asked if I could give her a better home. The soft sod I am took her straight away. So left my friends and went home dog in tow 🤦‍♀️😂 (most bizzare night out ever) city was chipped but the details were no longer registered. So came the decision to keep her and after an amazing few months she has settled in to such a beautiful bouncy girl. However, things took a horrible turn the other week as she started limping on her back legs. Before I knew it she couldn't walk. Multiple trips to the vets later and being transferred to a specialist it's now been made apparent she has slipped a disc and it's pushing again the spine 🙁.
Normally under most cercumstances I never ask for help but with a vet bill already risen too £5000 as she's having major spinal surgery. I am beginning to think I need it. I did get City insured but literally 10days before the first vet visit so they won't pay out.
So if anyone would like to help me and my girl by giving her the best chance of a new life we would both be so grateful :)
