For my whole life, my dad’s been my rock, my back-bone and the person I’d go to if I had any problems during my journey transitioning from a child to adult. He’s always been an extremely strong, resourceful man who will do whatever he can to improve our lives, which has inevitably meant many hours working away. Nevertheless, my dad has made me the person I am today.

I feel as though I’m losing my rock, my back-bone to the dreadful disease that rips many unsuspecting people from the grips of their family, cancer. We’ve been fighting alongside my dad for the last 3 years, hoping and praying for a miracle that will keep our family together for even just a little bit longer.

The long-awaited miracle has arrived, but yet, we’re told that the NHS will not fund this. Therefore writing my rock, my back-bone off and leaving us to make do with whatever other treatment they will offer, that may or may not work.

I am therefore asking you, strangers, to assist us in my dad’s journey to live. I will greatly appreciate any donations that you can give.
Remember, cancer has no morals, no convention. We are all at the mercy of this dreadful disease.
