Hello everyone,

I have the task of fundraising £1600 in order for me to go to Africa in October 2018 to help children that are less fortunate than ourselves. Ghana is the selected place where i will be travelling to. I will be helping to teach people basic literacy and numeracy skills as well as sports. The main aim is to give children the opportunities that could change their lives for the better. Children in Africa dont get their education for free and it is hard for some families to be able to afford to send their children to school after they have finished pre school or primary school.

The charity I will be going over to support is called African Adventures. They are a social enterprise which specialises in education trips and it is dedicated to improving the lives in the UK and Africa.

I will be running the Ludlow 10K race in order for me to fundraise. The race will take place on Saturday the 14th of July.
