Story
Raising money for my friends Rob Burrow and Craig Eskrett both suffering with Motor Neurone Disease. Ive always wanted to do something for Rob so decided a while ago, after retiring from professional rugby league, I would push out my comfort zone and run a marathon. The only one which seemed right was the Leeds marathon on 12th May. Since booking, another friend Ive known for a long time, Craig, has had the terrible news that hes battling the same disease that Rob has spent years making people aware of. Ive started my training at 120kg and still carrying some injurys ive been left with from my career as a rugby player, but I’m going to give my all to get this fat lad running 26.2 Miles! All money raised will be split between Rob Burrow 7 Descretionary Trust and Craig Eskrett. Thanks Tag x
