Weʼve raised £575 to Help us reduce Anti Social Behaviour at The Crouch by running electricity to the Stand and installing CCTV

Story
We have a long standing problem with anti social behaviour at The Crouch. Gangs of youths congregate in the football club dugouts to drink and smoke and repeatedly cause criminal damage. The gangs also cause concern to local residents and other users of the ground. The latest incident involved a recently repaired dugout being set on fire by the use of an accelerant. The football club is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the youth and senior sides within Seaford and the surrounding community and damage by vandals has to be repaired using funds that should be used to improve the facilities for all. We want to connect electricity to the Stand and install CCTV and, if appropriate, security lighting, to eradicate this problem and provide useable evidence so that action can be taken against the offenders.

6 years agoOur appeal has been getting press coverage and we were approached by BBC Sussex Radios Breakfast Show this morning. As a result we now have an amazing £1290 to add to the figure on this page so we are 78% towards hitting our target ! Thank you so much to all that have contributed so far.

6 years agoHuge thanks to 3 local businesses, PRW Brickwork, Tulletts Windows & Doors and David Jordan Estate Agents who have all pledged £300 to the fund. And to all of you who have given personally to help us achieve our goal. We have another £690 to add to the figure above so are nearly 2/3 rds of the way there. We have had other offers of support and are determined to make this happen during the next month or so. Please spread the world and help us if you can. Thank You !
