I want to educate locals and visitors to the country about the dropping numbers of sea turtles. They are an endangered species due to poaching, and the taking off eggs from the beaches for medicines and turtles for their shells and skin.
I will be building fences and creating more areas for the turtles along the beach that humans cannot access and I will be tagging hatchlings, in order to observe numbers of sea turtles and see if they come back to lay eggs themselves. I will also be watch the adult turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs, as security against people stealing the eggs afterwards.
