This is our beautiful baby boy Joey aged almost eight months. Joey has developed Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) due to a positional preference when lying flat and a difficulty in moving his neck in a certain direction. Currently the nhs do not fund any form of therapy for this problem and only advise specific interventions to improve the shape of the skull. However in some cases these interventions are not always successful and some babies require surgery. At almost eight months old time is starting to run out and in order to prevent surgery we would like to try Helmet Therapy. However this comes at a cost and is quite costly at just over £2000 per helmet.
