I am fortunate enough to be picked by my school to go on a trip to Zambia in Africa in 2019. Over the past few years my school have been working very closely with the Tag Rugby Trust to send students out to Africa to teach the young children how to play tag rugby. We use rugby as a vehicle to “Build Futures” through relevant and challenging opportunities for children and adults alike Sustainability and local ownership is central to our work .At the end of the week we will be holding a tournament for all the children to participate in.

I recently watched a very touching short film of where we will be going, see the children who have nothing but are still smiling & being happy made me want to do this even more. We will be helping in the local community plant fruit & vegetables ,painting ,building , even helping carry water back to the village to the water wells.

At the end of my once in a life time trip I  will have amazing opportunities to go see Victoria falls, go on safari to see the beautiful animals & a boat trip down the Zambezi river!

I have over a year to fundraise this money ,I will be participating in different activities to help raise the money.

While I am out there I will be staying in hotel called faulty towers!!!!
