I am creating a Recovery Magazine for the City of Dundee. Our aim is to bridge the gap between the recovery community and the community as a whole. To try and eliminate some of the stigma attached to recovery, highlight the work that is happening in Dundee. To inform and give knowledge and give people in recovery a voice to print there recovery stories, art, poetry and allow the wider community the chance to see that we do recover, we do have potential and we do want to be heard. By doing all this I hope to promote a better understanding and appreciation for people who are in recovery, allow people who want to achieve recovery the knowledge and tools to do it successfully and bridge the gap that exist between the two communities. All in all I want to make a difference and with your help I can make it happen. There is nothing like this available and I feel that with the support from crowd funding I can make it happen. This is an opportunity to show Dundee ( and Scotland) that recovery is possible, it's happening and it's happening now. So please help me make a difference to challenge the stigma surrounding this issue.
