Hi all, this is my friends story and she needs our help:

I am a 35 year old mum of my beautiful 7 year old daughter Olivia. I feel like I'm 70.

Since I was diagnosed in 2013 with Myalgic encephalomyelitis and Fibromyalgia ranging extremely high on both scales my life has been turned upside down. Both illnesses are very debilitating and not many people have much knowledge on just how much so.

I spend most of my time in bed as I struggle with fatigue and chronic pain every single day. I can't even walk my daughter to and from school.

Sometimes I can't wash myself, I can't cook because my memory is poor and I forget. This is a symptom. I've now just also been diagnosed with Arthritis in both of my feet. Because I spend so much time in bed I am in need of a better more supportive mattress, I have been told the Simba mattress would be very beneficial but they are also very expensive. I had to give up work 3 years ago. I've literally lost my independence, my friends and my ability to do most normal daily tasks. Waking in pain every single day is horrendous and i hare my daughter seeing ne this way. To have a more suitable mattress would make the most unbelievable difference to me in so many ways. It would mean I could get a better more comfortable nights sleep which would then hopefully make my days slightly more bearable. I take very strong pain killers every day and I'd love to be able to reduce this. It might sound small but a new mattress to me would mean the world.
