Ok so I completed the half marathon without injury on Friday evening, 25th May 2018. It was really tough and challenging, mentally and physically. However, I did it. Thinking of you all, your generosity, and how tough it is for people living with dementia and their carers and family pushed me on to that finish line. Thank you to everyone who has donated already. Plenty of time still to support this great cause. Dementia comes in many forms - we all know someone who is affected. I’ve never run anywhere near 13 miles in my life; but it’ll be worth every sore joint and blister if i can raise enough money to continue our Monday morning Memory Cafe.
