The Shrewsbury Diocesan Flight Team is a small team of volunteers that assist a number of sick and disabled members of our diocese on their journey to our annual pilgrimage to Lourdes, a small town in the south of France that many catholic pilgrims visit each year.

The majority of the volunteers accompanying us, together with the other members of the diocese, travel overland, however, due to the length of the journey, the sick and disabled members usually fly and therefore require additional assistance.

In order to assist with the increase cost of the flight fare for the volunteers we are raising money to fund the flight supplement for these volunteers.
