Follwoing what should have been a routine knee operation our beloved 6 year old shih tzu Lulu never really regained conciousness, although our vet advised us she was fit for discharge. We as a family couldnt wait to get our loyal family member back into the comfort of our home. On collecting Lulu from the vets she appeared extremely sleepy , Lulu was made comfortable within her bed with her family around her and her daughter by her side.As the night progressed Lulu appeared to deteriorate and never really regained conciousness and despite being by Lulu's side we witnessed her deteriorate, early hours of the 23 rd we made a decision to rush poor Lulu to the out of hours vets it was apparent Lulu was displaying signs of numerous seizures.Our family member didnt even recognise us. As we struggle to come to terms with what is happening and trying to do our up most for Lulu the vet bills soon added up despite us having pet insurance the vets who are currently caring for Lulu will not deal with our insurance company, currently the vet bill stands at £564 with £750 already paid by our family's savings. We have managed to get hold of an appointment in the mornjng for a MRI scan, we have received the costs for the upcoming treatment for tomorrow including the MRI totalling £3100 bringing our total so far being £3664 we are unsure how we are going to find the funds to help out little fighter, despite our family working all the hours we can we are unsure how we will find it. We have gratefully received messages off friends prepared to donate finds to assit in Lulu's treatment.this just giving page has been set up to help our beloved LULU.
