Story
Hello! And thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.
By supporting Adala UK you will enable two of our human rights activitsts to attend the annual UN Human Rights Council. We do not receive any public funding so are reliant on donations from members of the public to help us ensure the people of Western Sahara can enjoy all their human rights and live without fear.
The Western Saharan conflict involves large-scale human rights abuses ranging from torture to disappearances and unfair and inhumane imprisonment. Peaceful people are incarcerated for their political beliefs. We are working to bring an end to these crimes against the humanity of the Saharawi people. We don't take part in the conflict but we independently document the human rights abuses. By supporting us to make an annual trip to the UN Human Rights Council, you can ensure details and testimonies of these violations are heard in an international forum and that justice is finally served for the people of Western Sahara. Help us to enable our activists to make a real difference for their people and their rights. Thank you!
