Story
We are opening a sensory shack at the beginning of August.
This will be a safe and relaxing space for the most vulerable members of our community
We will have a music room a large activity room and a sensory room to enable parents and carers to soothe and make sense of senses.
We want to empower carers and help soothe trauma though play and relaxation.
We are a community interest company and we are passionate about delivering simple sessions both individually and in groups to traumatised or special needs adults and children to enable them to go onto a more balanced and productive life.
We are looking to help children who are in care or who have been victims of trauma to work through issues and heal.
By providing this service we aim to break the deadly cycle of trauma and mental health issues that left untreated can lead to antisocial behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse, criminal activity, violence and homelessness.
We will provide a non oppressive, calm and happy secure zone for people to be free from judgement and discrimanation.
