A group of doctors and nurses are cycling the width of the country to raise money to revamp the relatives room on J53.

At St James's ICU, we care for up to 23 critically ill patients and currently have limited space for the relatives of these patients to use.

Ideally we would like to create a space where patients relatives can have private discussions with doctors; sometimes receiving bad news about there loved ones and where they can get respite away from the clinical area, or sleep overnight if required.
