Over 300,000 people in the UK are recorded as homeless or living in inadequate homes, which is the equivalent to 1 in every 200 people.

No one, especially in this day and age, should be living on the streets with no home to go to. I am raising money to help towards helping and homing people on the streets. I also want to help educate people as many are under the impression that these people deserve this or have done this to themselves.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have somewhere to stay or someone to go to in times of need. If you were in a time of desperate need and know you have people to turn to, consider yourself lucky because not everyone has this. Some people have no one to depend on and have nowhere to turn. I hope people can empathise and put themselves in the shoes of the homeless, and rid of the idea that the streets are full of alcoholics and drug abusers and accept the fact that these are normal people, just like you, that deserve a home. Even those who do have drug or alcohol addictions shouldnt be frowned upon.
