Story
We are committed to bringing our community together and providing the best for everyone within it, breaking down social barriers which currently exist, and providing a space for physical development, stimulating the imagination and promoting social interaction.
We aim to make Slimbridge playing fields the heart of the village, creating a place where people of all ages come together to chat, play, exercise and relax.
Some of the ways we plan to achieve this is by installing play equipment such as a zip wire, climbing apparatus, slides and swings etc, as well as play tables, such as for ping pong, table football or drafts/chess, and by planting an array of fruit trees – free fruit for all to eat - and raised flower beds and providing seating areas and a barbecue zone with picnic tables.

I think the plans for our under utilised playing field sound excellent.
