Sofia is travelling with other students from Westholme School in Blackburn to Rural Kenya for four weeks in July & August 2018 with Camps International.

The humanitarian projects that Sofia will be helping with this summer will have a life changing impact on the local community. Projects such as;

• Building a new school classroom to raise the educational standards for a deprived community in a rural district of Kenya;

• Constructing vitally needed community housing to raise the living standards for some of the most impoverished families;

• Healthcare & sanitation projects to help improve the health of the whole community through installing and improving local amenities;

• Assist with wildlife conservation programmes at Camp Tsavo and/or Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary;
