Sophie is now SAFE, having been abandoned in Surrey. Under RSPCA monitoring with several other ponies, to avoid action, her 'owners' callously took her from her stable-mates and dumped her on wasteland leaving her to fend for herself in bitter conditions, alone. Now at our vets for observation and tests, we await the results of blood tests from the lab. We do know she has a huge worm burden, a high temperature on admittance and teaming with lice. She is emaciated under her thick winter coat.

As soon as she is clear of any transmittable diseases or infections she will come to SAFE HQ in Berkshire where she will be fully rehabilitated and eventually homed - ensuring she will never end up alone, again.
