Southend Barge Match
Sailing Barge Matches were part of very early Southend Regatta races, from the 1870s through to the early 1900s. Later races took place from 1964 to 2017 featuring offshore courses. We plan to emulate the regatta matches and bring the barges much closer to the shore.
