I volunteer for Southwest gsd rescue, they are an amazing small rescue based in Devon. They take in german shepherds from all sorts of situations, abroad where they have been left in kill shelters to die, on streets to starve, dogs that have been used for dog baiting (like in the picture), or dogs that people have just decided they do not want them anymore. Owners have died and their families cannot afford to keep them.
Dogs that are ill and need surgery, unwanted puppies that have been saved and hand reared till they are old enough to rehome.
All these dogs are microchipped, rabies injections and passported if coming from abroad, a lot are neutered and spayed.
We have an amazing group of fosterers who open up their homes to these dogs but we still need to use kennels whilst we wait for a foster home to become available.
We are a charity no;1171842 but we are NOT government funded.
Please help get these beautiful dogs into a safe environment where they will be loved and cared for just like they deserve, they do not ask to be treated like this.
