Sport Structures are a company based in Birmingham who run a wide range of services, particularly Apprenticeships, Education and Training and Sports Consultancy. From the Sport Structures team there are six members of staff running in the race as well as a long standing friend of our Managing Director.The six members of staff running the half marathon are: • Simon , KAth , Anita , Lizzie , Ross , Colin as well as Simon's friend Andy.

We are running the half marathon in the hope of raising £700 for our two chosen charities which are The West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre and Cancer Nurse Training at Manor Hospital. Both these charities are very close to the companies heart. Our Managing Director Simon Kirkland lost some of his sight last year and with the help of The West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre was motivated to take up running again. As well as that one of our apprenticeship tutors Mel recovered from breast cancer and wanted to say thank you to the nurses who were brilliant in helping her recover.
