The Allotment club was set up in 2017, to provide young people the opportunity to learn new skills in Horticulture. Young people learn how to grow their own fruit and Vegetable. They have the opportunity to request a particular fruit or vegetable.

The old shed was a standard size and in poor condition. With grants from Lancing Parish Council, Sompting Parish Council and Sompting Big Local, a larger shed has been purchased, which due to its size can be used as an outdoor classroom. However, a small about of funds are needed to finish the project.

We require funding to buy some Perspex for the roof, this would allow natural light into the shed, this was not budgeted for at the beginning. Also, funding to kit out the interior of the shed with benches.
