Story
On 22nd January 2017, we went through the most traumatic delivery of our daughter. Our baby stopped growing and was born prematurely, she had both respiratory and metabolic failure requiring the help and support of Specialists at The Northumbria Special Care Baby Unit, they fought to save her life and the Staff there do a remarkable job. When times where tough they helped us through. My daughter is a lucky little girl, my fighter and warrior. Both myself and Penny-Rose are incredibly lucky to be here today after our ordeal. So in appreciation to NSECH special are baby unit my 8 year old son Cameron is running the junior Kielder Marathon in October. Please help us to raise money to support this remarkable unit and other families with babies in need. This money Will help the unit buy necessities and comforts for both families and babies, so they are able to create memories.

January 2017 was the worst yet blessed month of our lives, Penny-Rose was brought into the world very unexpectedly following an emergency caesarean. She was whipped out in 20minutes following a placental issue and infection, she required specialist help to save her little life.
