Kazu, came to us straight from his mum but with a sore leg that we hoped would fix itself within a few days. After Xrays the vet called to give us some sad news. An old injury had meant that his little joint had fused along with the growth plates in his fetlock. He probably doesn't know life without pain which is one of the reasons to go ahead and try and make this better for him, in an older horse it would usually mean letting them go. One visit from the vet already stands at £400 and it's only the beginning.
