Story
Staincross Rangers is a local Junior Football club with over 150 players ageing from 5 to 16. We wanted to raise some money for the less fortunate within our local community and for the fantastic volunteers at the Barnsley Hospice.
Barnsley Hospice is a charity which provides specialist compassionate care to hundreds of local people every year from all over Barnsley.
Specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s
We also wanted to raise some funds for our club so that more children can enjoy

6 years agoWe have now completed our training program for the 3 peaks fundraising event for Barnsley Hospice and Staincross Rangers JFC. "It's been a tough program, we've covered some miles, climbed plenty of hills in challenging weather but raising money for 2 great local causes and hopefully helping the many volunteers along the way makes it all worth while" said Staincross Rangers JFC fundraisers Kerry Jones and Melanie Braithwaite. "The lads have really committed to helping the Barnsley Hospice which is great to see" they added.
