Story
For too long, the grassed area in front of Brownlow Terrace off Wharf Road has been an eye sore but now Stamford in Bloom is determined to transform the area but we desperately need your help!
To replant with floral hedges, small trees and bulbs will cost around £1,500 so any amount you can give us towards this project would be hugely appreciated.

3 years agoWe haveade the tough decision to postpone the plantung if the hedge until the Autumn. Hoping that by the it will have rained. Also there us some utility work due under the green which is likely to need all the space to work on. Rest assured we are keeping money secure and orders in place.

3 years agoWe had an interesting day today 16/4 as The Mercury gave a detailed update of the Brownlow Green project and a plea for more funding. We had a site meeting with volunteers topping up the trenches ready for the hedging. A visit from the Leader of SKDC and our MP allowed them to guide us to much needed practical and financial help.
