As Malachite has no capital whatsoever, Babz and Gruffy succeeded in raising money through Just Giving to pay for petrol for a 400 mile plus round trip from North Devon, near Cornwall, to Herefordshire, in order to record a collaborative album with a combination of live original studio and campfire chanting and singing, all with a tribal feel, and with influences from all corners of the globe.
The album is completed, and now we need to fund CDs, CD covers and paper inserts, disc labels, and printing ink, for production of the album. 50% of all album sales will go towards supporting the Standing Rock protectors in their continuing struggles against the pipeline and Trump. The remainder of profits will go back into further production of CDs, so Malachite will not be profiting from sales of the album.
We only need £130 in total to get this going, not as much as £200.
