Story

We are the Friend's of St Andrew's (FOSA) and we need to refurbish St Andrew's Primary School play area and replace all of the old and tired wooden play equipment. We have been actively fundraising for the past 2 years and need your help to meet our goal. So far we have raised £8,000 and urgently need the support to raise the final £2,000. This money will go directly to purchasing the play structure. The children need to have a fun environment to play and explore. The 'Captain Mannering' play structure will provide a stimulating environment for the children to be physically active, developing their gross motor skills, co-ordination and balance, whilst also engaging creatively in role play. For many of them, the only chance they have for physical recreation is in the school grounds or participating in school activities. This will be a great boost to our outdoor learning environment and will create a challenging play environment and inspire endless possibilities for imaginative play. We hope to have this awesome play structure installed by the end of March 2019. We need your help as we embark on this final push to see our school playground transformed. Thanking you in advance and we are appreciative of any financial support.
