Story
Route 38 and BTC clubs decided to hold a fundraising event as a result of our love of country music .We chose to support the Sunfield residential children's home at Clent which caters for children with complex needs, many of whom are autistic.Music is a valuable tool used to motivate and engage the youngsters, especially pre-verbal or non verbal children.Music releases feelings and memories and also helps the youngsters to safely process emotional problems with help from their music therapist .In order to maintain and engage the children in music therapy,it is important to introduce new instruments for them to play,so we would love to be able to raise the funds to purchase steel pans, stands and mallets for the youngsters aged 15 to 19 yrs and chimes and strikers for the children aged 6 to 10 yrs .With your support at the Sunfield Charity Extravaganza on the 6th of May at Stoke Prior club, we hope to achieve this goal .
