In December 2017, 10 year old Stephen Soderlund was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After undergoing multiple operations and being left partially paralysed with poor speech, memory loss and seizures his family received the devastating news that this rare tumour was incurable with the conventional treatments available on the NHS.

Hoping to take him to Germany for Immunotherapy costing c€150,000 this just giving page was set up to try and raise money to support him and his family during this time. Unfortunately shortly after the page was set up Stephen's condition deteriorated rapidly. On 29th April he sadly lost his brave and courageous fight and grew his angel wings.

In his memory his family are setting up a foundation called The Stephen Foundation. Whilst any money raised is unable to help Stephen we are pushing forward to support his family and continuing to raise money for this foundation to provide support and help other children (and their families) with critical illnesses, especially in developing countries where children do not have a right to access standard care.
