Story
The red fox in the UK has been persecuted and mistreated for many decades and are losing their natural habitat very quickly Indeed. We now see a lot more foxes moving into urban areas and because of this there are many more road casualties and injuries to these beautiful creatures and many are left to die a lingering death If not treated quickl.
This fundraiser is to raise awareness and provide financial support for the medical expenses, long term rehabilitation and food bills that many of our red foxes need before hopefully being released back into the wild where they belong. Unfortunately not all foxes are able to be released and some will live out the rest of their lives in a sanctuary where they can at least live a happy life.
please help us to continue this work by making a donation and whatever amount you donate 100% of your donation will be spent on helping a red fox in one way or another.
They cannot ask for your help but the people who love and care for them can.
Thank you

Second Chance Fox Rescue and Rehabilitation
4 months agoMeet Hope. This beautiful young vixen was rescued by us a couple of days ago and was found to have a badly broken hind leg. She had previously been treated by us for mange in a lady’s garden with ivermectin and apart from her tail the mange has cleared up nicely. Today 02/02/2024 Hope is booked in for her operation where the orthopaedic vet will be pinning and plating the break so fingers crossed for a successful outcome. A long rehabilitation period will then follow ❤️🦊

Second Chance Fox Rescue and Rehabilitation
4 months agoour latest arrival is Freddie, a stunningly handsome boy, who was suffering from a badly broken and infected hind leg. Unfortunately the leg could not be saved and our vet had to carry out an amputation to remove the leg. The operation went well and Freddie is now recovering here at the rescue centre and will be monitored closely over the next few weeks. He should recover well and still live a happy life once fully recovered ❤️🦊

Second Chance Fox Rescue and Rehabilitation
5 months agoWe have had a few more new arrivals here at the rescue centre recently.. One young vixen had been involved in an RTA which having had a blow to her head had knocked a few of her top teeth out and broken a couple of others. She had various cuts and bruises on her head and feet also. Since her treatment started she is starting to heal nicely. Another new arrival is Luna who tested positive for Toxoplasmosis and is now on a course of antibiotics to try and stabilise the condition. Unfortunately she can never be released due to her condition 🦊

Linda was a great animal lover, and it would be appropriate to donate instead of buying flowers. The £10 is part of a triple donation in her memory.
