Started the 140 mile Coast to Coast on Thursday 8th June from Whitehaven in pouring rain lasting all through the ride just slowing down at the end of our first day total of 52 miles finishing in Penrith.Next days ride was the hardest climbing high up the northern pennines finishing in Rookhope but a better day weather wise.Final days ride to Tynemouth started like the first pouring with rain unpleasant being a vast understatement.Again abating at the end of the ride.What an experience and achievement .
