Story
MUGA stands for Multi Use Games Area, and this sums up exactly what we are planning to build, an area that can be used all year round to facilitate a variety of sports and activities not only for our students, but also for the whole St Matthew’s and High Town community.
The surface will be multipurpose, meaning that it will be able to accommodate a wide range of sports including football, netball, hockey, tennis and cricket to name a few.
The MUGA will be surrounded by a ‘cage’ so that all the games will be safely contained within the area, and no more balls going over the fence!

St Matthew's is a Primary School in the High Town area of Luton. We are a large primary school with over 800 pupils within a very diverse community. Our plans are to build a Multi Use Games Area over our existing field to benefit both our school and the whole community!
