"The Fire Fighters Charity" and "Kenzie's Toy Appeal" are two incredible charities that mean a great deal to the On-Call Fire Fighters of Stockton Heath Fire Station. Therefore, we want to raise as much money (split 50/50) to show our support for 2 great causes!

The Challenge-
We as a team will be completing a charity stair climb (on a step machine) attempting to climb the height of 10 famous landmarks and places around the world in FULL Fire Kit and BA, all in one afternoon:
- Big Ben (96 meters / 37 floors)
- Sagrada Familia (170m / 65f)
- Eiffel Tower (301m / 116f)
- Twin Towers (417m / 160f)
- One World Trade Centre (541m / 208f)
- Burj Khalifa (828m / 318f)
- Snowdon (1085m / 417f)
- Deepest Point of Grand Canyon (1857m / 714f)
- Mount Kilamanjaro (5895m / 2267f)
- Mount Everest (8848m / 3403f)

The Fire Fighters Charity -
The UK's leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.
It costs over £9 million per year to keep the Charity running, and we are completely reliant upon donations and fundraising.
We have three centres in Devon, Cumbria and West Sussex, which offer a range of support programs including physical rehabilitation, nursing care and emotional recuperation to help those who have suffered injury, illness, stress or bereavement.

Kenzie's Toy Appeal -
Kenzie is a Young Ambassador for Alder Hey and takes an active lead on the "Kenzie Toy Appeal", where he collects toys and hands them out to children who unfortunately spend time in Alder Hey.
Kenzie himself has been in and out of Alder Hey for 6 years after being diagnosed with Perthes Disease. He's had numerous treatments, 2 major surgeries and on-going hydrotherapy and physiotherapy.
