Story
The Secretary of State has decided to "call in" the unpopular decision by Braintree District Council to approve a planning application for 140 houses on this greenfield site.
The Stonepath Meadow Residents Group want to put the residents' views forward at the Inquiry and so seek funds for legal advice on preparing evidence to submit by the late November deadline.
Braintree's unpopular decision was in direct contradiction to both the District "Local Plan" and the Parish "Neighbourhood Plan", which favour an alternative large Brownfield site. Local democracy appears to have been completely ignored and the Secretary of State has now taken the decision out of Braintree District's hands to reconsider.
Please donate as much as you can, we need your help to save the Meadow.

The funds will be overseen by volunteer trustees from the village - a retired Parish Councillor & retired schoolteacher.
