Polly Haydock is just 36 and has three children. She has terminal cancer and was given six months to live in July 2016.

The NHS could only offer her chemo, which would extend her final days but leave them full of sickness and anxiety.

After extensive research, Polly discovered treatment in Germany. It's estimated the medicine costs £250,000.

In November 2016, Polly headed over to Germany and started treatment with the money that had been raised so far. Providing it can be funded, Polly's doctor has said she could be in remission in three months' time.

We don't know Polly personally, but can relate to her. And when we heard of her plight, we wanted to help. So 14 women – some have never met before – got together to create a Strongwoman calendar, in the hope of helping Polly survive.
