    Story

OK we know we said last year that we'd only do it once but we just had to do the GNR again for Martin Hibbert and his daughter Eve, 13. And with Ariana's performance of One Last Time at the ❤️Manchester concert playing in our ears as our training inspiration we're away.

On 22nd May Martin tweeted the picture of him and Eve at San Carlo in Manchester before heading to Ariana Grande's concert. When the news broke many of his friends, having seen this, tried to contact him and with unusual silence from him on social media they began to fear the worst.

Martin and Eve were 30ft away from the detonation point and both were severely injured and sustained life changing injuries.

Hundreds of Martins friends and business colleagues want to help in some way - full of admiration for Martin's approach to this and wishing them both the best and quickest recovery possible.

Martin's friends recently issued a description of his injuries with Martin's consent. This is shown below along with an X-ray, the account is staggering - both for what Martin went and is going through but also because some really fabulous people managed to save his life both at the Arena, on the way to and in A&E then in the ICU and HDU.

So two ways to support please and big thanks in advance.

Firstly make a donation either here on our page or at the main page set up by his schoolfriends
    https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/martinandevehibbert

Secondly don't stop sending messages of support to Martin and Eve - keep those messages going! Please add a message to them with your donation.

    Many thanks Sue and Hannah
