In March 2016, my friend Ann became very poorly and during her illness I noticed how important it was for her to keep her much loved pets!

Inspired by the importance of keeping people and their pets together, I set up my own dog walking business which offers a special service for the elderly. However, my investigations led me to The Cinnamon Trust. The Trust offers elderly pet owners vital loving care for their pets and works together with them, for example, walk a dog every day for a housebound owner, foster pets when owners need hospital care to name a few. Thus, giving peace of mind for owners as well as love, care and safety for their pet.

However, the Trust relies on volunteers (for which I have applied) and financial support to help 32,142 people a year with 41,342 animals and running two home from home sanctuaries. With this in mind, on 6 January 2017, I am participating in a 40 mile walk called the 4 Pit Challenge to raise funds for such a worthy charity!
