Callum is raising money for 2 charities: Asthma UK, in loving memory of his Godmother Susan Kilpatrick, and his school's charity 'Culcheth to Soweto'. The money will be split equally between the two charities, unless people specifically state which charity they prefer their donation to go to.

Very sadly, Callum's Godmother passed away last January. She had suffered from asthma since childhood and this combined with the winter flu caused her death. We are all devastated by this and Callum would like to support the Asthma charity in her memory. Sue leaves her husband, our best friend Gordon, and 2 children: Andrew and Amber.

At school, Callum and his 3 friends, Tom, Sam and Elliot, are attempting to kick a football the same distance as Culcheth to Soweto which is 13400 km! They begin the first of several 5 hour sessions on 18th November at Fred Longworth High School. They will be kicking the ball to each other across the sports hall. Spectators will calculate the distance the ball travels in each of the 5 hour sessions. To complete the distance they will include all their football training sessions and matches played. This will hopefully cover the distance of 13400km over the year! The project enables pupils from Culcheth to experience life in Soweto in October 2019 and students from Soweto to visit Culcheth in July.
