Story
I would like to travel to Ghana for 3 weeks to take part in an important project to support a poor community who values our input.
Since 2012 my school - Oldham Hulme Grammar School, has been helping the Seventh Day Adventist junior high school in Kwahu-Tafo, Ghana. It is a very poor agricultural community which places great value on education. My school have helped build the walls and ground work for a library. It now needs a roof. I want to go there in summer 2018 but need to raise this money for my place. The money will pay for my flight, my stay, and pay towards the work we will do in building the library etc.
This will be hard I know, to be away for 3 weeks without a phone and no water supply in the village. Living in a tent won't be easy, but seeing the children we help will make it worthwhile - I hope!
