This is Kevin, my friends uncle, today at around 4pm Kevin was on this way home in leicester with his bike when two ladies started talking to him, the kind , caring ,friendly innocent man he is he started talking back thinking they wanted to befriend him.

They followed him to his flat while he went to use the toilet the stole his bike and took his money out his wallet.

For anyone his is distressing enough but Kevin also has Down’s syndrome and struggles to understand why they would want to do this to him.

He doesn’t have a lot and his bike is his world. It is the only way he can get out and about to visit his family who are his only support since his mother passed away last year!

He is understandably devastated so I would like to restore his faith that most people are good and raise the money to get him a new bike and back out and about .

We have manage to buy the bike back for £40 off the person who brought it of the theives.

After everything Kevin has been through we would like to raise the £40 to get the bike back and enough for him to go on a day trip out.
