I am setting up this page with the hope that I will be able to help a very good friend of mine through what has been years of pain and distress. She has asked to remain anonymous as this is such a serious case and is only agreed to share this as it is extremely important to get the help she needs.

It started whilst she was in care at the age of 14 and carried on for 2 year and has taken over her life in more ways that I can explain. She was groomed by men who plied her with alcohol and drugs to sexually abuse her on many occasions. This as you can imagine will stay with her forever.

After having limited councelling sessions through the NHS and trying Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, realising that didn't work for her, she was told the only other option was group therapy. Which you can only imagine what it would be like to share something so horrible in front of a group of complete strangers.

The only other option for her would be to try private councelling which is extremely costly. She would be looking at £150 for 1 session. As this this a very complex matter she will need this for a significant period of time.

It has dramatically taken over her life and has resulted in extreme anxiety and serious mental health issues which has held her back from doing everyday things for a long time. She wants to start councelling again as it's taken over so much of her and is desperate to regain control of her life again.

This would be a great help in kickstarting the councelling whist being able to save up to pay for more when needed.

She is an amazing person and it's hard to see her struggling so much when she deserves nothing but happiness.
