Story
5,000 people live on Tasso Island, in the estuary of the Sierra Leone River. They have no roads, hospital or running water. The Gladi-Gladi Trust has helped the islanders to build an Ecotourism Camp that will employ local people. In the other villages on the island, it is now installing tanks to store clean water, and negotiating to build a medical centre.Tasso Island

6 years agoWe’ve exceeded the 2017 target sobwe can provide more medical and water equipment to the Tasso Islanders. This is due to the ongoing generosity of donors who recognise a human need and have the means to meet it
