CAPPA stands for the collaborative associates of professional performing arts. CAPPA is a brand new CIC company aiming to develop opportunities for people with additional needs, with educational and vocational opportunities within the local area very limited CAPPA aim to deliver courses, activities, classes, sessions and support to those who struggle to access those things. Creating a safe place for people to have fun, learn a lot and make friends with a extra element of performing arts, an art form where anyone can express themselves and enjoy. This service is already benefiting not only young people but providing respite for parents and careers.

HOW WILL FUNDRAISING HELP?

In order to be able to deliver this wonderful service CAPPA needs a few pennies to get going. We have a lovely premises at the Old Fire Station on Clifton Road of which we have self funded to refurbish and make suitable to get our journey started however there is still lots to do. We are looking to raise funds for wheelchair ramps, a FOB activated security system to ensure safety, a minibus to allow us to go into the community and explore past the fire station doors. Funds to be able to offer specialist classes and courses. and with some funds to go towards everyday things, such as a projector and some IPADS to enhance learning and experience.
