Weʼve raised £1,180 to give to Reiver House Chemotherapy Department

    Carlisle, United Kingdom
Funded on Thursday, 16th November 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Following a routine blood test for my diabetes in January I needed a CT scan and various exploratory procedures. At the beginning of March I was then given the devastating news that I have inoperable Bile Duct Cancer. This news came out of the blue! I'm now undergoing chemotherapy to improve my quality of life. As you may know one of my great passions is football and I would love to attend 70 games.this season (that's 1 or 2 each week!) I'd also like to raise some funds for Reiver House where I have my chemotherapy each week. The staff are lovely and it would be good to give some money to the department. I thought I could combine the two and would like you to sponsor me either by each match I attend or just to make a donation. Thank you.

Well done! Really hope the evenings aren't too cold and gloomy. Obviously we can't understand why football rather than rugby but I guess someone's got to do it!
